‘Koala Lullaby’ is an elementary piano solo with lyrics in the ‘Noah’s Ark Series’ of piano solos by Lynne Cox. This series focuses on global music emphasizing different styles in music. The lullaby is appropriate for the koala, the animal that sleeps the most on the planet. Composed in the key of G, Alberti bass is used in L.H. Both hands are in treble clef throughout the piece and right hand plays the single-note melody. The damper pedal is used and the soft pedal added to all of this gives it a music box effect. In ABA form. Chosen by NCMTA Jr.A III contest list for 2014. As with all solos in the 'Noah's Ark Series’ on the back is an ‘Actual Factual’ page listing facts about the animal and locale as well as the theory in the piece.
