The 45 "nice duets" are an easy introduction to cello playing for young and old cellists. When the scale swings, triads sound like country music and arpeggios become the accompaniment to a pop ballad, then practicing is really fun. All pieces can be played in the 1st position. Methodically, the book is divided into three parts: the first part contains easy pieces in the narrow 1st position, the second part pieces in the wide fingering position. The third part contains somewhat more challenging but easily manageable pieces with specific tasks such as string changes, arpeggios or triad exercises. Really nice, these nice duets!
