A conductor from Syracuse, New York, Sean O’Loughlin has claimed an important place in the spotlight with the guidance from Vice-President of Carl Fischer Music, Larry Clark. O’Loughlin has conducted the Boston Pops Orchestra, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, Vancouver Symphony, Atlanta Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Houston Symphony, Victoria Symphony, Seattle Symphony, to name a few, as well as others, and he has collaborated with many artists including, but not limited to, Sarah McLachlan, Adele, Hall and Oates, Gloria Estefan, The Indigo Girls, Diana, Krall, Itzhak Perlman, Natalie Merchant, Chris Issak, Blue Man Group, Pink Martini, Brandi Carlile, The Decemberists, MatinaMcBride, Josh Ritter, Gloria Gaynor and various others. Holding degrees in composition from both Syracuse University and the New England Conservatory, he also holds an award from the ASCAP Special Awards. He was a composition fellow at the Henry Mancini Institute in LA.
